It's so hard to find 5 star books anymore. This story was OK. The cliffhanger at the end would of been seriously frustrating if Book 2 wasn't out. The only reason I got this series, due to the whole series is finished. Please writers!!! Finish the story and put it in one book. When you are writing 100 page installments, it's obviously done on purpose. I felt the author was lazy in parts of the story when it came to details or information. There was also some questionable or cheesy lines Garret would say, for example in book 3 he finally gets to meet her mom in the hospital, her mother has Alzheimer's. Garrett tells the mother, he'll have to give her a foot massage the next time he comes to visit her. Now remember, he just met her. Through out the book I was sensing the author just adding useless crap just to add more pages or whatever to this story, no time was taken to make a better book. That's why I question what made this into 3 books. If you're taking your time to give a reader an excellent story, no problem make it into a series. But, if it's mediocre, just make the story into 1 book. I'm not that good when it comes to spelling, grammar, and punctuation. I do know how to spell "daisies" not daises. I can see making that mistake once, but twice in two different paragraphs?
I don't trust reviews anymore here on Amazon. Everyone gives 5 stars out too easily for these type of books. I'm starting to believe the author will have friends and family post reviews on their books.

As always with Deborah Bladon's books they are just brilliant! Hands down. The cliffhangers in her series drive me crazy and I am certainly not a patient person when it comes to bestselling novels that keep me on the edge of my seat! The lead characters (Vanessa and Garrett) both compliment each other. While Garrett is the arrogant, chauvanistic charming lawyer, Vanessa is the fiesty, straight up in-your-face kind of attitude ER nurse. I can't wait to see Vanessa rip into Garrett who may (or may not?) really be married to her sister.

Countdown to February 20 is on! Looking forward to TRACE Part Two!
Alright...I knew I should have waited for parts 2 and 3 before reading part one...why? Because I totally want to see what happens and I can't wait!!! I just can not wait for the next part! This series has started off amazing, as usual for Deborah Bladon! I could not put it down and now I am mad at myself for starting it before the next parts....all I have to say is...Oh Sh*t at the ending...or the cliffhanger...you are killing me Deborah...killing me!! but in a good way! Hurry and bring on Trace 2 and 3..PLEASE!!! I beg you! Everyone needs to read all of Deborah Bladons' series's, she is brilliant and amazing and fun and hot and all the good things that go into writing a fabulous series!! Love her!!
Lawyers and nurses, what can I say? There are attractions that cannot be helped. Garrett Ryan a lawyer that knows what he has to offer and Vanessa a woman that needs to find the truth about herself.

Deborah Bladon keeps you interested from the beginning of this book. She finds a way to put mystery and sex into this book without batting an eye. Cliffhanger as always and I love it. How will Garrett get out of the situation he is left in is the question of the day. I love the twist and turns in Deborah Bladon series and I am looking forward to the next part.
